Summer School 2019 Holiday Week
Day 1 Valentine's Day
Today was our first day of summer course. In the class we learned about Valentine’s Day, then our teacher played us a video about it, That was great. For the special activity, Toddlers had fun cooking, we made chocolate-dipped watermelon pops, and our teacher told us the ingredients that we were going to use such as watermelon and chocolate. First we used heart cookie cutters to cut the watermelon into heart shaped, then we stuck a toothpick in each piece and dipped the peace of watermelon into the chocolate. We had fun and it was delicious! K1 and k2 made Valentine’s popsicles craft. First our teacher showed us how to make spiral paper roses, it was easy and fun. Then we used different colors of paper to make our roses, we had fun because we learned how to make flowers. It was beautiful, we loved it!
今日からサマースクールが始まりました。初めに皆でバレンタインデーについて学んだあとに、先生と一緒にそれに関するビデオを見て楽しく遊びました。スペシャルアクティビティは２つのクラスに分かれて行います。小さいクラスはチョコレートがけスイカを作りました。初めにクッキーを作る用のハートの型を使ってメロンを切って、それをチョコレートの中に入れたら完成です。楽しくおいしくできました。
大きいクラスはバレンタインアートを行いました。初めに先生たちが色紙でバラを作る方法を教えてくれました。一人一人違う色の紙を使って自分だけのバラの花束を作りました。ハサミで切るのはちょっと難しかったけれど、先生が手伝ってくれました。お家でも作ってね！
Hoy fue nuestro primer día de curso de verano. En la clase aprendimos acerca del día de San Valentín, después nuestra maestra reprodujo un video acerca de ello, estuvo genial. Para la actividad especial, los niños pequeños cocinaron, hicimos sandía pops cubiertas de chocolate, nuestra maestra nos dijo el nombre de los ingredientes que utilizamos, sandía y chocolate. Primero utilizamos un molde de galletas de corazón para cortar la sandía, luego metimos un palillo en cada pieza y sumergimos la sandía en el chocolate.
¡Estuvo divertido y delicioso!
Day 2: 4th of July & Easter Today in our second day of summer course, we learned about two special holidays celebrated in different countries.
First, our teacher taught us about 4th of July, we saw a video about it. We liked it because we knew how United States celebrates its Independence Day, we loved the fireworks. Then, we learned about Easter, we also saw a video about Easter. We liked the rabbit and the colors that they used to paint the eggs.
For the special activity, toddlers made a patriotic suncatcher, we used the colors of the United States of America flag. We also stick white stars on the contact paper. it was a little bit hard but our teacher helped us. It was beautiful.
K1 and K2 made and Easter no-bake cake cheesecake. First our teacher showed us the ingredients that we were going to use. We had fun adding and mixing food coloring to the cheese cake, and the cream. It was delicious!
今日はサマースクール ２日目でした。今日はアメリカの独立記念日とイースターについて教えてもらいました。独立記念日はきれいな花火が印象的でした。イースターはかわいいうさぎとカラフルなイースターエッグが気に入りました。
今日のスペシャルアクティビティ（小さいクラス）は星条旗模様のサンキャッチャーを作りました。アメリカ国旗の色のちりめん紙と白色の星を貼り付けてキラキラのサンキャッチャーができました。
大きいクラスはイースターチーズケーキを作りました。カラフルなチーズケーキ、おいしかったね。
Hoy en nuestro Segundo día de curso de verano, aprendimos acerca dos días festivos especiales que se celebran en diferentes países. Primero nuestra maestra nos enseñó acerca del 4 de Julio, vimos un vídeo acerca de ello, nos gusto mucho porque aprendimos como en Estados Unidos se celebra el día de la independencia. Nos encantaron los fuegos artificiales. Después aprendimos acerca del día de pascua, también vimos un vídeo, nos gustó el conejo y los colores que se utilizan para pintar los huevos de Pascua. Como actividad especial de hoy, los niños pequeños hicieron un atrapa luz patriótico, utilizamos los colores de la bandera de Estados Unidos, también pegamos estrellas blancas sobre papel contact, fue un poco difícil pero nuestros maestros nos ayudaron. ¡Quedo hermoso! K1 y K2 hicieron un pastel de pascua. Primero nuestra maestra nos enseñó los ingredientes que utilizaríamos. Nos divertimos agregando y mezclando diferentes colorantes al queso crema y a la crema. ¡Estuvo delicioso!
Day 3 Thanksgiving Day 🦃 & Halloween 👻🎃
Today in our third day of summer course we learned about how people celebrate thanksgiving, also we learned about Halloween, our teacher showed us a video about it, it was funny. For today special activity toddlers did a thanksgiving turkey craft. First our teacher showed us an image of the turkey, then she gave each of us a paper plate, we started to paint the plate with sponges using yellow, orange and red paint, then we pasted the face, nose and the eyes. We had fun doing the thanksgiving turkey. K1 and k2 made a spooky bowling, our teacher explained and showed us some images, we used cans, we painted them and we drew some monsters faces, it was fun creating our own monsters!
サマースクール3日目の今日は、どのように感謝祭を祝うのかということや、ハロウィーンについてビデオを見ながら勉強しました。その後ベビークラスでは、七面鳥を作りました。まず初めに七面鳥のお手本を見せ、それからそれぞれに紙皿を渡しました。スポンジを使ってその紙皿を黄色やオレンジ、赤色に塗っていきました。最後に、目・鼻・口をつけて完成させました。みんなとても楽しんで作ることができました。大きいクラスでは、カンを使ってハロウィーンのおばけを作りました。お手本を見せた後、カンに色を塗ってその上からおばけの顔を描きました。みんなそれぞれ自分のおばけを楽しんで作ることができました。
Hoy en nuestro tercer día de cursos de verano, aprendimos cómo las personas celebran el día de acción de gracias, también aprendimos sobre Halloween. Nuestra maestra nos puso un video de ello, estaba muy gracioso. Para la actividad especial de hoy, los niños pequeños hicieron una manualidad de pavo de acción de gracias con esponja. Primero nuestra maestra nos explicó y nos enseñó una imagen del pavo, después nos dio un plato de papel para comenzar a pintarlo con la esponja utilizando pintura amarilla, naranja y roja. Después pegamos la cara, la nariz y los ojos. Nos divertimos haciendo nuestro pavo de acción de gracias. K1 y K2 hicieron un boliche tenebroso, nuestra maestra nos explicó y nos enseñó algunas imágenes. Utilizamos latas, las pintamos y dibujamos caras de monstruos, estuvo divertido crear nuestros propios monstruos.
Day 4: Thanksgiving Day 🦃& Halloween 🎃
Today in our summer course, in class our teacher played us a video about a Halloween story, and also a Snoopy story about thanksgiving, we liked Snoopy! For today special activity, toddlers made a ghost cake. First our teacher told us the ingredients that we were going to use such as apple, caramel, sunflower seeds, strawberry and m&ms, first we started adding caramel inside the apple, then we put a strawberry as the tongue, and m&ms as the eyes. We had fun doing our monsters. It was delicious. K1 and k2 for special activity made a thanksgiving turkey, our teacher showed us an image of how we were going to do the turkey, we used sticks, feathers, brown yarn and buttons for the eyes, our teachers helped us create our turkey. It was beautiful.
今日のサマースクールではハロウィンのお話についてとスヌーピーの感謝祭のお話についてのビデオを見ました。皆スヌーピーが大好きです！今日のスペシャルアクティビティでは小さいクラスはお化けケーキを作りました。初めに先生がケーキ作りに使う材料を教えてくれました。リンゴ、キャラメル、ヒマワリの種、イチゴ、m＆mを使いました。初めにキャラメルをリンゴの上に塗りました。そしてイチゴをお化けの舌として、m＆mを目として置きました。お化けづくりはとても楽しかったです。
K1とK2のスペシャルアクティビティでは感謝祭の七面鳥を作りました。先生が初めどうやって作るかを教えてくれました。棒と羽と茶色の糸と目としてボタンを使いました。先生は私たちが作るのを手伝ってくれました。とてもきれいにできました。
Hoy en el curso de verano, en clase la maestra nos puso un video acerca de un cuento de Halloween. También vimos un cuento de Snoopy del día de acción de gracias. ¡Nos encantó Snoopy! Para la actividad especial de hoy, los niños pequeños hicieron un pastel de fantasma. Primero nuestra maestra nos dijo los ingredientes que necesitaríamos tales como manzana, caramelo, semillas de girasol, fresas y lunetas. Primero comenzamos a agregar caramelo en medio de la manzana, después pusimos una fresa como la lengua, y las lunetas como ojos. Nos divertimos haciendo nuestros monstruos. Estaban deliciosos. K1 y K2, para la actividad de hoy hicieron un pavo de Acción de Gracias, nuestra maestra nos enseño una imagen de cómo haríamos el pavo, utilizamos palillos, plumas, estambre café y botones para los ojos. Nuestros maestros nos ayudaron a crear nuestro pavo, ¡Quedo hermoso!
