Spring Course 2019 Week 1
Day 1 🇸🇻 El Torito Pinto (The pinto bull) 🇸🇻 Today was our first day of our Worldwide Spring Course! We were very excited to start this adventure! Today we reviewed some of our previous knowledge, like the phonics, we did some reading and writing exercises on the whiteboard. We reviewed the wild animals and we went in an animal search in our playground! We had a lot of fun looking for different animals, like the camel, mouse, deer, raccoon, and squirrel among many others, the weather made it feel like we were out in the wild!
The country to which we travel today was El Salvador, we learned about its culture, the flag and the colors in it, the coat of arms and the shapes and objects in it and what they mean , the national bird -the Torogoz- , the national tree -the Maquilishuat- , the national dish and from what it's made of - corn or rice and the stuffing of choice like cheese, beans, among other- and the fourteen departments (states). We learned a little bit of folkloric dance from El Salvador and we made a simple choreography to the beat of “El torito Pinto”. We learned a lot today and we had a lot of fun!
今日はスプリングスクールの最初の授業の日でした！私たちは今日の授業をとても楽しみにしていました。以前学習した英語の音を復習したり本を読んだり、ライティングのアクティビティをしました。また、野生の動物の言い方を確認してお庭でラクダやネズミやアライグマ、鹿、リスなどの動物を探しました。天気のおかげで野生にいるように感じました。 午後はエル・サルバドルという国へ旅行です。エル・サルバドルの文化や国旗の色や紋章、国鳥、国樹、とうもろこしや米などの材料を使った食べ物、14の州などについて学びました。そしてエル・サルバドルの民族舞踊をみんなで踊りとても楽しかったです。
¡Hoy fue nuestro primer día de nuestro curso de primavera alrededor del mundo! ¡Estamos muy emocionados de comenzar esta aventura! Hoy repasamos algunos de nuestros conocimientos previos, como los fonemas, hicimos algunos ejercicios de lectura y escritura en la pizarra, revisamos los animales salvajes y realizamos una búsqueda de animales en nuestro patio de recreo. El clima lo hizo sentir como si estuviéramos en la intemperie, buscando a distintos animales como el camello, el ratón, el mapache, la ardilla, el venado entre otros.
El país al que viajamos hoy fue a El Salvador, aprendimos sobre su cultura, la bandera y los colores que tiene, el escudo y las figuras y objetos que tiene como su significado, el ave nacional -el Torogoz-, el árbol nacional -el Maquilishuat- , el plato nacional -la pupusa y cuáles son sus ingredientes, como maíz o arroz y el relleno de preferencia, como queso o frijoles entre otros- y los catorce departamentos (estados). Aprendimos un poco de baile folklorico salvadoreño e hicimos una coreografía simple que realizamos al beat de "El torito Pinto". ¡ Aprendimos mucho hoy mientras nos divertiamos!
Day 2 🇧🇷
Today was our second day of our Spring course! Today we saw in our English class some buildings like the house, the towers, the skyscrapers, the castles, among many others. We learned those who live in them as for example the king who lives in the castle, that people work in the offices of the skyscrapers and how many things are made in factories. Then we reviewed the counting methods, we learned how to count from one to one hundred, but from 10 to 10, we used the abacus to better visualize what our teacher was explaining to us, then we identified the numbers. We also learned about the country of Brazil and the taste of zamba and soccer, we ventured into the Amazon jungle, we learned about where Brazil is, how many states it has, what is its capital city -Brasilia-, what is the typical food - Feijoada-, after all this we played Jeopardy to review what we learned about the buildings, about the number and about Brazil, we answer many questions.
Today we had a lot of fun playing soccer as Brazilians, we wanted to practice our jogo bonito, our teacher put us some exercises to practice our dribbling, our passes, and our shots on goal, we combine all the exercises and we made a rally which we did pretty good. We will make a great soccer team!
スプリングスクール2日目です。今日の英語のクラスでは家やタワー、高層ビル、城などの建物の単語を学びました。またそこにはどんな人が住んでいるのか(例えば王様は城に住んでいるなど)、工場では何が作られているのかを学習しました。その後1から100までどのように数えるのか、そろばんを使って先生が説明してくれました。そして今日はブラジルのサンバやサッカーについて学びました。アマゾンのジャングルを冒険してどこにブラジルがあるのか、いくつの州があるのか、首都や食べ物について勉強しました。また、ゲームをしながら学んだことを復習しました。 アクティビティではサッカーをして先生がドリブルやパスの仕方を教えてくれ、みんなでラリーをしました。
¡Hoy fue nuestro segundo día de nuestro curso de Primavera! Hoy vimos en nuestra clase de inglés algunos edificios como la casa, las torres, los rascacielos, los castillos, entre muchos otros. Aprendimos quienes viven en ellos como por ejemplo el rey que vive en el castillo, que la gente trabaja en las oficinas de los rascacielos ya que muchas cosas son hechas en fábricas. Luego repasamos los métodos de conteo, aprendimos como contar del uno al cien, pero de 10 en 10, usamos el ábaco para visualizar mejor lo que nos estaban explicando, luego identificamos los números. También aprendimos sobre el país de Brasil y al sabor de la zamba y del fútbol nos aventuramos en la selva del Amazonas, aprendimos sobre dónde se encuentra Brasil, cuántos estados tiene, cual es su ciudad capital -Brasilia-, cual es la comida típica - La Feijoada-. Luego para repasar todo jugamos Jeopardy, respondimos varias preguntas sobre los edificios, los números y sobre Brasil.
Hoy nos divertimos mucho jugando al fútbol como brasileños, quisimos practicar nuestro jogo bonito, nuestro profesor nos puso varios ejercicios para practicar nuestro drible, nuestros pases, y nuestros tiros a portería, combinamos todos los ejercicios e hicimos un rally que nos salió muy bien ¡Haremos un gran equipo de fútbol!
Day 3 🇦🇷
Three days had pass of our Spring Course and we are having a great time! Today we learned about the verbs, which are the actions the subject makes, we learned the infinitive tense and then we repeated a sentence our teacher said using the verbs. We learned dive, run, bounce, swing, push, carry, among many others, now we have a greater vocabulary than before, we're improving our English language skills! We also review the fruits and the vegetables, we identified them, and then we classified them in a chart in the whiteboard our teacher made, using red marker for the fruits and green marker for the vegetables, we named them and then we told him which one was a fruit, i.e. apple, and which was a vegetable, i.e. leek; after that we went outside to have a fruit and veggie hunt, on the tires in the playground we needed to find the flashcard of fruit and a vegetable that our teacher asked for, we had a lot of fun.
Today we traveled again to South America, this time to the house of the asado and the hornero bird, Argentina, we learned that Buenos Aires is the capital city and that the seal of Argentina is the sun, the one in the middle stripe of the flag, of which we identified the colors -sky blue and white-. Today to celebrate Argentina we made our Paper Roll Gaucho -an Argentinian cowboy- we used cardboard to make the hat, and we used various materials to dress him, like origami paper and cloth. We had so much fun today!
スプリングスクール3日目です。今日は簡単な動きを表す動詞を学び、先生が言った単語を繰り返して言いました。「dive, run, bounce, swing, push, carry」などを習って前よりも知ってる単語が増えました。また先生が赤いペンでフルーツ、緑色のペンで野菜の表を作ってくれて単語を学びました。自分たちで名前を付けて先生にどれがりんごかネギかなどを言いました。そのあとに外へ出てフルーツと野菜のカードを探しました。
そして今日は再び南アメリカへ飛び立ちました！ステーキハウスとオルネオ鳥という国鳥で有名なアルゼンチンで首都はブエノスアイレス、国旗は太陽が真ん中にあり水色と白の縞模様であるということを学習しました。今日はアルゼンチンの「ガウチョ」というカウボーイハットを段ボールを切って作り、折り紙や布を使ってドレスアップしました。
¡Ya van tres días de nuestro curso de primavera y nos la estamos pasando muy bien! Hoy aprendimos sobre los verbos, los cuales son acciones simples que el sujeto realiza, aprendimos los verbos en infinitivo y repetimos las oraciones que nuestro profesor decía usando los verbos como nadar, correr, rebotar, columpiar, empujar, cargar, entre muchos otros, ahora poseemos un vocabulario más amplio en inglés, estamos mejorando día a día nuestra habilidades del lenguaje. Hoy también repasamos las frutas y los vegetales, los identificamos y los clasificamos en una tabla que nuestro profesor hizo en el pizarrón, usando marcador rojo para las frutas y marcador verde para los vegetales, los nombramos y luego le dijimos a nuestro profesor cuáles eran frutas - por ejemplo la manzana- y cuáles eran vegetales -por ejemplo el apio-; luego fuimos al patio de juegos para hacer una cacería de frutas y vegetales, en las llantas de afuera necesitábamos encontrar la tarjeta que nuestro profesor nos dijera ¡Nos divertimos mucho!
Ahora también volvimos a viajeros a Sudamérica, a la casa del asado y del pájaro hornero, Argentina, aprendimos que Buenos Aires es su ciudad capital y que el sello de Argentina es el sol que se encuentra en la franja de en medio de la bandera, de la cual identificamos sus colores, el celeste y el blanco. Para celebra a Argentina hicimos unos Gauchos miniaturas con rollos de papel, los Gauchos son vaqueros argentinos, el sombrero lo hicimos usando cartón y vestimos el rollo de papel con papel de origami y tela ¡Nos la pasamos super bien!
Day 4 🇲🇽
Taco party 🌮 Today we finished our first week of our Spring Course! We dedicated this days to the countries of Latin America, we travel from Mexico to Argentina, passing through El Salvador and Brazil, we learned many things this week! Today we review the shapes and we learned that they’re called 2-D shapes, this let us learned today about the 3-D shapes, like the cube, the sphere, the cylinder, the cone, and the pyramid, we identify the objects around us that looked very similar to the shapes, we also build using some sticks the 2-D shapes, like triangle, square, rectangle, pentagon, diamond, hexagon, and octagon, then we reviewed the phonics of the letters S, A, P, T, I, and letter N, we told our teacher some words that he wrote on the board, after that, he added some words, he organized us by teams and we needed to write the word he gave us using scrabble letters, we had a lot of fun and we learned about the value of teamwork!
For our special activity we cook some delicious tacos, to celebrate our foster home, we were very excited to make some tacos, our teacher delegated us some task like cutting the onions, or the coriander, or preparing the avocado for the guacamole mix, we did an excellent job! After all that, our teacher prepared the meat and the tortillas, we were ready for some delicious tacos! Thank you Mexico for your gastronomy!
今日はスプリングスクール1週目最後の日でした。今週はラテンアメリカについて学んでメキシコからエルサルバドルとブラジルを通ってアルゼンチンまで旅しました。そして今日は形の単語を復習してそれらは2Dということを習いました。次に立方体や球体など3Dの形を学んで身の回りにあるもので3Dの形のものを探し、棒を使って2Dの形も作りました。またS, A, P, T, I,Nの発音の仕方を習い、先生が白板に書いた単語を読むことができました。そのあとにチームに分かれて文字を並べて単語を作るゲームをしました。 アクティビティではタコスをみんなで作りました。先生が「玉ねぎを切る」や「アボカドソースの準備をする」などの課題を出し上手にできました。そのあと先生が肉とトルティーヤを作ってくれてみんなでおいしくいただきました。
¡Hoy terminamos nuestra primera semana de nuestro curso de primavera! Dedicamos estos días a los países de América Latina, viajamos desde México a Argentina, pasando por El Salvador y Brasil, ¡aprendimos muchas cosas esta semana! Hoy repasamos las formas y aprendimos que se llaman formas 2D, esto nos permitió aprender hoy sobre las formas 3D, como el cubo, la esfera, el cilindro, el cono y la pirámide, identificamos la objetos a nuestro alrededor que parecían muy similares a las formas, también construimos con algunos palitos las formas 2D, como el triángulo, el cuadrado, el rectángulo, el pentágono, el diamante, el hexágono y el octágono, luego revisamos la fonética de las letras S, A , P, T, I y letra N en inglés, le dijimos a nuestro maestro algunas palabras que escribió en la pizarra, después de eso, agregó algunas palabras, nos organizó por equipos y tuvimos que escribir la palabra que nos dio usando letras de scrabble ¡nos divertimos mucho y aprendimos sobre el valor del trabajo en equipo!
Para nuestra actividad especial, cocinamos algunos tacos deliciosos, para celebrar nuestro hogar de acogida, estábamos muy emocionados de hacer algunos tacos, nuestro maestro nos delegó algunas tareas como cortar las cebollas o el cilantro, o preparar el aguacate para la mezcla de guacamole ¡Hicimos un excelente trabajo! Después de todo eso, nuestro maestro preparó la carne y las tortillas, ¡estábamos listos para unos deliciosos tacos! ¡Gracias México por tu gastronomía!
